GRASONVILLE, Md. – UNC Greensboro is third after a score of 294 in the opening round of the Towson Invitational men’s golf tournament, played Saturday afternoon.
Play was halted before the second round could be completed. Teams will complete their second rounds beginning at 7:30 am and the third and final round will follow.
Kent State is atop the team leaderboard at 285 through the first 18 holes, followed by William & Mary at 290 and UNCG at 294. Delaware is fourth at 295.
UNCGs duo of Drew Younts and Ryan Heisey are both tied for fifth place with even-par 72 in the opening round, four shots off the lead. Kent State’s John Hahn was the first-round leader at 68. The William & Mary duo of Brent Paladino and Doug Hurson were tied for second, twho shots back after the opening round.
