Bowman still in lead after two rounds at Palmas Del Mar

The Flamboyan, Puerto Rico – UNC Greensboro’s Will Bowman holds a one-shot lead after two rounds at the Palmas Del Mar Intercollegiate.
 
Bowman shot a second round 71 to hold onto the lead he started the day with. Notre Dame’s Doug Fortner is one shot back in second place, followed by VCU’s Mark Jargren in third at 141. UNCG’s Ryan Heisey is tied for sixth at even par 144.

VCU overtook the Spartans in the team standings on Tuesday. VCU carded a round of 280 on Tuesday to take a two-shot lead over UNCG, which shot a 297 on Tuesday. VCU is atop the team leaderboard at 579, followed by UNCG at 581 and Notre Dame at 583.
