Tallied a 3-16 record in doubles play…went 1-2 in singles action.

2023 (Junior)
Finished the season with a 4-18 overall singles record and 1-6 in the SoCon…earned the most wins in doubles for the Spartans with a 10-13 overall record and 3-4 in the SoCon.

2022 (Sophomore)
Won four singles matches … He won two at No. 5 singles and two at No. 6 singles … His three-set win over Mercer’s Alexandr Koliev clinched a 5-2 victory on April 7 … He also won matches against North Carolina Central, Samford, and The Citadel … UNCG was 4-0 in matches that Johns was victorious … Johns was a part of four doubles teams that won matches … He teamed with Alexander Zuckerman to win a doubles match against Samford at the SoCon tournament … In addition to claiming a singles win against Mercer, he also partnered with Hampus Johansson to win 6-3 at No. 3 doubles.

2021 (Freshman)
Newcomer hit the ground running and contributed right away, going 2-2 in singles matches and 5-8 as a doubles player ... Played No. 2 or No. 3 doubles with five different partners, appearing in all 13 of UNCG's matches this season ... Made collegiate debut at No. 3 doubles, playing with partner Hugh Knapp in a 2-6 loss to Charlotte (2/26) ... Scored first collegiate victory (3/1) at No. 6 singles, beating Radford's Aditya Balsekar 6-4, 6-3….named to the ITA All-Academic Team.

Competed in National Clay Courts ... graduated third in his high school class, earning honor roll selections every semester.

Son to Mark and Susanne Johns ... majoring in computer sciences ... has a twin sister, Samantha, who plays tennis at the Naval Academy.
