Scout Day Set For Sunday’s Men’s Basketball Game

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG athletics department has announced its first annual Scout Day Sunday, February 17 in conjunction with the men's basketball team hosting Southern Conference rival Appalachian State at the Greensboro Coliseum at 2 p.m.

The ticket office has partnered with the Boy Scouts Old North State Council and the Girl Scouts Peaks 2 Piedmont to offer a special discounted ticket for all members and their families. To purchase tickets, please contact the UNCG ticket office by Friday, Feb. 15 at 336-334-3250. The offer will not be valid the day of the game at the Greensboro Coliseum ticket office.

Highlights of the afternoon include a pregame "Parade of Scouts" on the court for recognition of attendance. Additionally, the first 500 Scouts in line at the gate and in uniform will receive a limited edition UNCG basketball jersey patch.
