Named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman team by both
the coaches and media … UNCG’s second-leading scorer
played in 27 games with nine starts … reached double figures
in scoring 17 times, including nine times in the final 10 games
… missed season’s first two games while recovering
from a shoulder injury … injury led to a slow start as he
averaged just 5.2 points over his first five games … also
missed two games in early December with an illness … began
to make a name for himself in late December … scored 16
points and grabbed seven rebounds at Clemson, and scored 14 points
on 6-of-9 shooting against Richmond three nights later …
exploded for 33 points in home win over Davidson, going 12-of-15
from the field, 4-of-6 from three point range and 5-of-5 from the
free throw line … scored 22 points and grabbed five rebounds
in road win at Samford … tallied 18 points and five rebounds
in regular-season finale at Davidson … scored 15 points and
