Named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman team by both the coaches and media … UNCG’s second-leading scorer played in 27 games with nine starts … reached double figures in scoring 17 times, including nine times in the final 10 games … missed season’s first two games while recovering from a shoulder injury … injury led to a slow start as he averaged just 5.2 points over his first five games … also missed two games in early December with an illness … began to make a name for himself in late December … scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds at Clemson, and scored 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting against Richmond three nights later … exploded for 33 points in home win over Davidson, going 12-of-15 from the field, 4-of-6 from three point range and 5-of-5 from the free throw line … scored 22 points and grabbed five rebounds in road win at Samford … tallied 18 points and five rebounds in regular-season finale at Davidson … scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Southern Conference Tournament opening round win over Davidson … came back next night and contributed 17 points and eight rebounds in season-ending loss to Western Carolina … averaged 16 points and nine rebounds in two SoCon Tournament games … averaged 14.8 points and 4.4 rebounds in season’s final 16 games as Spartans erased 0-15 start by finishing 7-9 … averaged 13.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in SoCon games.

Top 100 recruit out of Coffee HS... was a three-time all-region selection... versatile player with a 42-inch vertical leap... averaaged 16 ppg as a junior and better than 20 per contest as a senior at Coffee... scored 47 points in a region tournament game last year... played AAU ball with fellow freshman David Williams.
