2011-12 (Sophomore): Played in 31 games as a reserve to earn his second letter … Averaged 10.0 minutes per game, including a career-high 24 minutes against Appalachian State (Jan. 26) … Scored 39 points on the year … Posted a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds, both career-highs, against Appalachian State.
2010-11 (Freshman): Appeared in three games, playing a total of four minutes … played one minute and scored season’s only field goal at Wofford … played two minutes in loss at Maryland … also saw action at College of Charleston.
Prior to UNCG
Ranked among the Top 30 players in the state of Washington... earned all-league honors the last two seasons and a spot in last year's Class 3A / 4A All-State Game... averaged 15.7 points and 14 rebounds per contest this past season for North Kitsap, leading them to an 18-7 mark... set school record for career rebounds... Spartans got onto Hoffer through an old friend of UNCG associate head coach Rod Jensen; Al Gleich, a longtime coach in the area, had known Jensen from his days as an assistant coach and head coach at Boise State and called Jensen... honor student in high school with a 3.98 GPA.
