GAME NOTES (PDF)

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG baseball team continues its eight-game homestand Tuesday and Wednesday, hosting Lehigh and Rhode Island for a pair of contests at the UNCG Baseball Stadium. Both games are scheduled for a 4 p.m. start.

The Spartans are coming off a series win against Marist in which they lost Friday but posted consecutive triumphs to close the weekend.

Junior catcher Cambric Moye hit a pair of three-run home runs against the Red Foxes, clubbing them in consecutive games Saturday and Sunday. The round-trippers brought his total to a team-best four. He is currently one of two Spartans hitting over .400 with teammate Christian Wolfe batting a squad-high .467 - the second-highest average in the Southern Conference. Wolfe had a fine series against Marist, hitting .643 with nine hits in 14 at bats. He also scored three runs and delivered three RBI.

Sophomore Max Povse and freshman Adam Anderson picked up wins over the weekend while Caleb Henley came on with runners on second and third and no outs in the ninth inning of the series finale to preserve a one-run lead and record his first save of the year.

# UNCG will face both Lehigh and Rhode Island for the first time in program history this week.
