WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – UNCG's baseball game at Wake Forest was canceled due to inclement weather Tuesday night. UNCG was leading 6-4 in the bottom of the third inning when the skies opened up. After rain and lightning delayed play for more than an hour, officials made the decision to cancel the contest.
Lloyd Enzor and Trevor Edwards hit home runs and the Spartans scored in all three innings. However, because it was canceled, the stats are voided. There is no makeup date scheduled for the game.
UNCG returns to action on Thursday when it welcomes Presbyterian for a three-game nonconference series at UNCG Baseball Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
