UNCG baseball sets Homecoming weekend festivities

GREENSBORO, N.C. – As a part of Homecoming festivities this weekend, the UNCG baseball team will be holding a pair of scrimmages and an alumni game that is open to the public.

The team will hold an intrasquad on Saturday and Sunday, with both scrimmages beginning at 1 p.m. each day. Family members, alumni and UNCG fans are encouraged to come out to get their first look at the 2011 UNCG baseball team as it continues with fall practice.

Following the conclusion of the UNCG baseball scrimmage on Saturday, the 1994 baseball team, which is part of the 2010 UNCG Hall of Fame induction class, will play against other UNCG baseball alumni in an alumni baseball game. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m.

All events will be held at the UNCG Baseball Stadium.
