“Freebie Fridays” return for the 2010 baseball season

GREENSBORO, N.C. - UNC Greensboro has announced the return of "Freebie Fridays" for the 2010 baseball season, which allows fans to attend this season's Friday baseball home games for free.

Freebie Fridays is a concept that was introduced during the 2009 baseball season. The promotion is geared towards parents taking their children to a game for free on a Friday afternoon or evening during tougher economic times.

This year there are seven home games on Friday, beginning with the season opener against Cleveland State this Friday at 4 p.m.

The other six home games on Friday's are Feb. 26 against Albany, March 5 against Army, March 19 against College of Charleston, April 2 against Elon, April 23 against Wofford and on May 21 against Furman.
