Feltes named TIAA-CREF Student-Athlete of the Week

SPARTANBURG, SC -- The Southern Conference has named UNC Greensboro's Greg Feltes as the TIAA-CREF Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of April 12.

Feltes, a sophomore second baseman for the Spartans' baseball team, hit .412 in a 3-2 week for UNCG last week. He finished his efforts on the week with one double, one home run and three RBIs.

Feltes scored seven runs on the week and did not commit an error. The Rocky River, OH, native also was walked seven times and was hit by two pitches. He ended the week a perfect 16-for-16 on the campaign in the stolen base department after stealing three bases last week.

Feltes is a finance major with a 3.50 GPA.
