2013 Spring Tryout Dates and Location

Friday, April 12  5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Location: HHP Building, 1st floor, Two-Court Gym

Saturday, April 13  9 a.m. - 8 p.m. (There will be a lunch and dinner break)

All tryout sessions for the UNCG Dance Team are closed, without exception.

Video tryout submission: Submission of a video tryout are not accepted. However, extreme situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis and the coaching staff reserves the right to deny the option of a video tryout at their discretion.

The Spartan G’s dance team is a group of full-time UNCG students dedicated to performing throughout the men’s and women’s basketball season as well as various special events during the academic year. The squad performs at all regular-season men and women’s home basketball games, while a select group travels to the Southern Conference Championship in March.

Members of the Spartan G's dance team must be full-time UNCG students and are expected to maintain a minimum of a 2.3 GPA.

Tryouts are held each spring and fall and are open to all full-time UNCG students. Previous dance experience is recommended and all styles of dance will be taught.

To request the Spartan G's dance team for a special appearance, please contact head coach, Erika Holmes at esholme2@uncg.edu. Special appearance requests should be made two weeks prior to the event.
