GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG athletic department raised over $3200 for the Fox 8 Gifts For Kids campaign that assists families in the Piedmont area during the holiday season. UNCG and FOX8 have been teaming up for over 15 years for this community service campaign which focuses on the power of small donations from UNCG fans and the surrounding community.
"On behalf of the SAAC and UNCG student-athletes, it was a
privilege to be a part of Fox 8 Gifts for Kids campaign,”
senior golfer and co-president of the Student Athlete Advisory
Council Matt Younts said. “For us, there is no better feeling
then being able to give back to the community that supports Spartan
Athletics so well."
