GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG athletics department announces a limited number of tickets for the men’s basketball game versus UNC December 7 in Chapel Hill will be made available for purchase to UNCG students at a cost $35 each.
Due to the expected high demand for tickets, a special ticket lottery will be conducted. In order to become eligible for the lottery, you must be a current UNCG student and attend at least three of the first four home men’s basketball games at the Greensboro Coliseum. The first four home games are Friday, November 8 at 7pm vs. High Point, Tuesday, November 12 at 7pm vs. ECU, Sunday, November 17 at 2pm vs. Chowan and Wednesday, November 20 at 7pm vs. Greensboro College.
Students are admitted free to all home basketball games. Upon entry, student ID’s will be scanned and to track attendance at games. Students that attend all four games will receive three chances to win the lottery, while students attending the minimum of three games will receive one chance. The lottery will be conducted Thursday, November 21. Students who win the lottery will be notified through their official UNCG issued email address and will be given the opportunity to purchase up to two tickets to the game. Students will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the game.
The Spartans open their home schedule Friday, November 8 at 7pm as they take on High Point at the Greensboro Coliseum. The first 1,600 student in attendance will receive a free t-shirt as UNCG attempts to break the student attendance record.
