ROCK HILL, S.C. – UNC Greensboro cross country’s season came to end with the NCAA Southeast Regional Friday at the Winthrop Farm.

“It was valuable race experience for our young men's team moving forward,” said UNCG head coach Chad Pearson. “We will continue to work at improving as a team.”

Brandon Hernandez paced the Spartans in the 10K course with a time of 32:48.8 for 128th place. Trelek Jones followed with Luke Sumerford finishing after him. Thomas Knepshield and Dalton Miles rounded out UNCG’s top-five.

Kaitlyn Stone was the top runner on the women’s side in a 6K, coming in 118th place with a time of 21:59.3. Ariana Garcia had the second-best time for the Spartans followed by Kassidy Dill. India Godlock and Kathryn Anderson topped off the five best finishes for UNCG.

“Similar to the men, it was valuable race experience for the women as we continue to mesh as a team during races,” said Pearson.
