GREENSBORO, N.C.- UNC Greensboro’s men’s golf team will conclude fall play this weekend when it hosts the annual Grandover Collegiate at Grandover Resort. All 10 members of the team will be participating in the tournament.

A Glance At The Squad
UNCG is coming off a second place finish in the Autotrader Collegiate that took place two weeks ago. In the tournament, the Spartans set new program records for 36- and 54-hole performances while finishing just one stroke behind the winning school, Georgia State.

Additionally, senior Bryce Hendrix and junior Jonathan Brightwell finished tied for second place and just one stroke off the all-time 54-hole low for a UNCG golfer.

The result was also the Spartans’ second straight top-three finish, as they finished third in the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate. 

This will be the Spartans’ final tournament of fall play. Once this tournament has been completed, UNCG’s next appearance on the course will come in February at the UNCG Banyan Creek Collegiate at Banyan Creek Golf Club in Palm City, Fla.

UNCG Will Be Joined By…
UNCG will be joined during the tournament by Mercer, Virginia Tech, East Carolina, Michigan State, Appalachian State, Liberty, Northwestern, Rutgers, VCU, Chattanooga, Duke and Penn State.
