GREENSBORO, N.C. – In a 26-point effort UNC Greensboro women’s basketball’s two-point victory over Wake Forest on Sunday, senior guard Nadine Soliman moved into sole possession of second place in career points in program history.

Soliman now has 1,600 career points, surpassing the legendary Angie Polk (1,585) for the second-most points by a Spartan.

The Cairo, Egypt, native now needs just 308 points to become the school’s all-time leading scorer. Lucy Mason currently has scored the most points in UNCG history with 1,907.

Soliman last season was named a first-team All-Southern Conference selection. She has also earned two second-team All-SoCon selections and was named the SoCon Freshman of the Year in 2017.
