GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second-straight year, UNC Greensboro men’s basketball will begin its season against North Carolina A&T with this year’s crosstown rivalry game taking place in the Greensboro Coliseum. 

UNCG Athletics has set a goal of 10,000 fans overall, which would set a new school record for season-opening attendance.

-- Over the last three seasons, UNCG has won a combined 81 games which is tied for the seventh-most in the country during that span 

-- The Spartans were picked to finish in second place in both of the Southern Conference Coaches and Media polls 

-- Junior guard Isaiah Miller was named SoCon Preseason Player of the Year after a sophomore campaign in which he ranked in the top five nationally in total steals and steals per game while reaching the 20-point mark nine times
