Jordy Kuiper And Justin Jordan Named to NABC Honors Court 07-19-2017

GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG men's basketball seniors Jordy Kuiper (Groningen, Netherlands/Canaries Basketball Academy) and Justin Jordan (Davidson, N.C./Milwaukee) have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court for the 2016-17 season.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes those men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season. The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts that these men possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The qualifications include being a junior or senior academically, holding a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2016-17 academic year and students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.

Kuiper owns a 3.60 GPA in sociology as he earned his degree in the spring and will be taking graduate classes in 2017-18 in his final season of eligibility. Jordan boasts a team-high 3.83 GPA in business administration and is in his third year at UNCG after transferring in from Milwaukee.
