Basketball Season Tickets On Sale Now, Help Men's Basketball Set Record With 1,000-Season Tickets

UNCGSpartans.com 09-07-2017

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG men’s basketball team is coming off a record-setting season last year, posting the most wins in program-history and winning the Southern Conference regular season championship.

This season, the UNCG Athletic Department plans to break records in support of the team. UNCG has set a goal of selling 1,000 men’s basketball season tickets. It would mark the first time in program history to break 1,000-season tickets. Last season, UNCG sold 866 total season tickets to fans that watched the Spartans post a 13-4 home record.

Season tickets start at $129 in the lower level, $159 in the risers (with Spartan Club donation) and $450 for courtside seating (with Spartan Club Donation). All season tickets come with a complimentary parking pass at the Greensboro Coliseum. Contact the UNCG ticket office at 336-334-3250 for more information on season tickets as well as for UNCG Faculty/Staff discounts.

Current season ticket holders can help out the Spartans even more this year with the new Spartan Pride Season Ticket Referral Program offered this year. If each current season ticket holder can generate just one new season ticket, it would go a long way to attaining the 1,000 season ticket threshold.

In support of the goal, UNCG Athletics is offering a one-time, introductory price of $99 (lower level seat) for referrals from current season ticket holders. For each new season ticket referral purchased, the current season ticket holder will receive $10 cash back (i.e. 2 new season tickets=$20, 4 new tickets=$40, etc.). If a current season ticket holder is responsible for 10 new season tickets, they will receive one season ticket (cash back) for free. More information on the season ticket referral can be found at www.uncgspartans.com/referral.
