GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG baseball took time out of its busy spring season to put on a clinic for the Stokesdale Little League Wednesday night. The clinic featured UNCG student athletes working with the little leaguers to teach them the basics of baseball.

“Tonight has turned into one of our most fun traditions at UNCG.” Head coach Link Jarrett said, “It’s a great way for our players to give back to our community and the sport of baseball. We did a fantastic job tonight and everyone had a great time, from our players, to the little leaguers, to the parents in attendance. This is a very rewarding experience.”

The clinic featured activities such as base running, infield play, outfield play, hitting and using a radar gun. Spartan baseball players led the drills for several little leaguers throughout the evening.

UNCG is back in action Friday night as they host the ETSU Bucs in the first of a three-game series on food truck Friday.
