GREENVILLE, S.C. – UNC Greensboro volleyball will close out a three-match road swing on Wednesday night when the Spartans face the Furman Paladins in Alley Gymnasium.

-- UNCG and Furman -- along with Mercer -- enter the match tied for fifth place in the Southern Conference at 2-4 in league play 

-- Head Coach Corey Carlin needs just one more victory for 100 wins during his time at UNCG 

-- As a team, the Spartans rank fourth in the SoCon in digs per set (14.65)

-- Junior Maria Esch ranks seventh in kills per set (3.43) during SoCon action

Upcoming For The Spartans

UNCG will continue conference play on Saturday afternoon, hosting Mercer in a match that will commemorate the program's 50th anniversary. The match will start at 4 p.m. 

50 Years of UNCG Volleyball

The 2019 season will be a special one for the program, as UNCG volleyball is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The program will be hosting a special celebration during the weekend of Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19. The weekend will include an alumni vs. alumni match, a program history celebration luncheon and recognition of several distinguished alumni from the program’s past.
