2018 SoCon Academic All-Conference
2018 (Freshman): Played 58 sets over the course of the season, finishing with fifth-most digs (172) and third-best in digs / set (2.97) … made her collegiate debut against Air Force (Aug. 24), positing four digs in the process … had the first of seven double-digit dig performances as she tallied 11 digs against Samford (Sept. 29) … topped the 20-dig mark for the first time in her career as she recorded 21 against Mercer (Oct. 19) .. established her single-season high in digs (28) as part of a four-set clash with Western Carolina (Oct. 24) … continued her solid defensive play with 11 digs at Samford (Oct. 26) … emerged with her third 20-dig performance in a five-match stretch, leading the Spartans’ defense with 22 digs at Chattanooga (Oct. 27) … combined for 10 digs in the final two matches of the season against East Tennessee State (Oct. 31) and Furman (Nov. 16).
Prep: Meysembourg is a three-year letterwinner at Noblesville High School under head coach Steve Hawthorne ... led the Millers to a 2017 sectional championship, the first in 15 years for NHS ... were also a regional runner up ... earned Academic All-State honors, a team-captain as a senior and she finished second on the team in aces in her senior season.
She has competed for two seasons with the Team Indiana club team ... was an honorable mention gym dandy last season as she helped Team Indiana to a successful two season ... with Meysembourg in the back court, Team Indiana won the TI Classic, finished second at the Nike President’s Day Classic in 17 open, took second place at the MLK Challenge and placed third at the MEPL 17s age group ... Team Indiana finished fifth at JVA Summerfest, fifth at the CZ invite and 13th at AAU Nationals, going 7-3.
Personal: She is the daughter of Rod and Lori Meysembourg and has two siblings and plans to major in kinesiology.
