GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2019 All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes this week and four UNC Greensboro tennis players were named All-Academic Scholar Athletes: Logan Blaser, Roger Rogowski and Cooper Wyett of the men’s team and Tayah Cross of the women’s team.

In order to be an All-Academic Scholar Athlete, a student must be a varsity letter winner, have a GPA of at least 3.5 for the current academic year and been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.

Additionally, the men’s tennis team was selected as an All-Academic Team.

This year, the ITA saw an increase in qualifying teams and scholar-athletes while All-Academic honors were awarded to 940 teams and thousands of scholar-athletes according to a press release provided by the organization.
