GREENSBORO, N.C. - UNCG men's tennis hosts their second fall tournament of the season, with the Spartan Fall Invitational set to take place from Saturday through Sunday. The Spartans will host Davidson, NC A&T and Elon over the course of the weekend, opening day one with singles matches against the Phoenix at 9 a.m. and day two with doubles against the same team at the same time.

• This weekend's invitational will be the second UNCG has hosted this fall, the first time in at least a decade the Spartans have held multiple home tournaments in the early season

• The last time UNCG hosted the Spartan Fall Invitational was in 2017, where the side delivered 11 match wins between singles and doubles play


• Between singles and doubles play, the Spartans delivered a team total of 17 match wins in September's UNCG Fall Invitational, competing against athletes from East Carolina, Radford, Campbell, James Madison and USC Upstate

• Newcomer Alexander Zuckerman went a perfect 4-for-4 in his singles competitions, while Ollie Palmer and Nico Grewe won all three of their doubles matches

• Sophomore Roger Rogowski collected three singles wins in the Spartans' first home tournament of the fall season, dropping a single set over those three matches total

• Grewe and Ollie Palmer recorded 12 doubles match wins during last spring, with Palmer's 10 singles victories trailing only his doubles partner for a team-high of 11


• Elon turned in a 21-5 record in the spring regular season, before falling to No. 18 Georgia in the first round of the 2019 NCAA Championship tournament

• The Spartans defeated Davidson 5-2 this past spring, but fell to the Phoenix 6-1
