Brightwell will tee off at 1:43 p.m. alongside John Augenstein and Andrew Bailey during the first round. He’ll begin the second round at 8:23 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
Lyerly, meanwhile, is paired with Xavier Marcoux and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen as he will start the first round of action at 2:03 p.m. before teeing off the second round at 8:48 a.m.
Brightwell qualified after carding a four-under 140 (69-71) during US Amateur Sectional Qualifying at Colleton River Club in Bluffton, S.C., while Lyerly posted a four under 140 (69-71) at US Amateur Sectional Qualifying at UNC Finley Golf Club.
Brightwell and Lyerly have been instrumental in UNCG’s recent success, as the Spartans have won back-to-back Southern Conference Championships for the first time in program history. Both were named to the All-SoCon Team this past spring as well.
