DURHAM, N.C. –UNC Greensboro men’s golf will compete in the first of four-straight in-state tournaments at the Rod Myers Invitational, hosted by Duke, on Saturday and Sunday.

A Glance At The Squad

The Spartans opened up fall play this past week finishing in a three-way tie for eighth place at the Badger Invitational. 

UNCG was led by senior Jonathan Brightwell, as he finished tied for fourth place after carding an eight-under for the tournament. 

For his efforts, Brightwell as named Southern Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week. It was the third time he earned the award. 

UNCG Will Be Joined By…

UNCG will be joined during the tournament by Duke along with Charlotte, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Liberty, Louisville, Nebraska, North Carolina, Penn State, Princeton, Toledo and Wake Forest.
