GREENSBORO, N.C.- UNC Greensboro’s men’s golf team will return to action this weekend, participating in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate that will take place Oct. 6-7 at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C.

A Glance At The Squad
The Spartans most recently participated in the Windon Memorial Classic that took place two weekends ago at Knollwood Club in Lake Forest, Ill. In the tournament, UNCG shot a 904 (305-304-296) as junior Jonathan Brightwell led the way for the Spartans finishing in 17th place at 217 (73-74-70). Senior Bryce Hendrix collected the second lowest score for the Spartans at 225 (77-75-73) while sophomore Nick Lyerly finished at 227 (76-76-75).

In their first tournament of the year at the Rod Myers Invitational, the Spartans finished in eighth place.

UNCG Will Be Joined By…
UNCG will be joined this weekend by North Carolina State, Campbell, East Carolina, Wofford, Loyola (Md.), Georgia State, Southern Miss, High Point, Jacksonville, Lipscomb, George Mason, Maryland and Virginia Tech.
