GREESNBORO, N.C. – UNCG freshman men’s golfer Jonathan Brightwell (Charlotte, N.C./Independence) continued his torrid pace as the reigning Southern Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week tied the UNCG single-round record with a 63 and the Spartans as a team obliterated the single-round scoring mark for a team to lead the Spartans into fourth place at the Wolfpack Spring Open hosted by N.C. State at the Lonnie Poole Golf Club. UNCG will look to continue its strong play with the third and final round Saturday. The Spartans are set to tee off from hole No. 1 between 8:45-9:21 a.m. with live scoring available at www.golfstatresults.com.
