GREENSBORO, N.C. – On Friday, head softball coach Janelle Breneman announced UNCG’s fall slate of games. The Spartans will play eight games in all, six on the road and a pair at the UNCG Softball Stadium.
The Blue and Gold will open up in Rock Hill, South Carolina at Terry Field on the campus of Winthrop on Sept. 16. UNCG will take on the host Eagles at 1:30 p.m. before taking on Appalachian State at 4:00 p.m.
Exactly one week later, the Spartans return to Rock Hill to battle Winthrop on Sept. 23 at 12:30 p.m. UNCG will then take on Wingate at 3:00 p.m.
After spending two weekends on the road, the Spartans return to the Gate City Oct. 1 to face off against Queens (N.C.) at 1:00 p.m. at the UNCG Softball Stadium. UNCG will then host Catawba in Greensboro on Oct. 13 at 6:00 p.m.
The Spartans wrap up the fall season on Oct. 15 in Wilmington, North Carolina. UNCG will take on UNCW at 12:00 p.m. before battling North Carolina at 5:00 p.m.
