GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG sophomore midfielder Leeroy Maguraushe (Milton Keynes, England/Stantonbury) has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Second Team All-South Region. This marks the first All-Region honor for Maguraushe and the second-straight year a Spartan has been honored (Jacques Francois).

Maguraushe is a two-time All-Southern Conference selection after earning Second Team honors this year. He spearheaded the Spartans’ defense that posted six shutouts on the year. Additionally, he scored three goals and dished out an assist. He tallied two game-winning goals this year – one in double overtime against Campbell and one against Furman advancing the Spartans to the SoCon Tournament semifinals.

Maguraushe was the 2015 SoCon Freshman of the Year and earned First Team All-SoCon honors last season. He finished second on the team with 18 points, tying for the team lead with eight goals.
