GREENSBORO, N.C.- UNC Greensboro’s women’s golf team is participating in its last tournament of fall play Nov. 5-6 in the Idle Hour Collegiate at Idle Hour Golf Club in Mercer, Ga.

A Glance At The Squad
The Spartans have collected two top-five finishes so far in fall play, as they finished in second place in the Starmount Fall Classic along with a fourth place finish in the Pinehurst Challenge. Additionally, sophomore Tara Bettle also registered top 10 finishes in both of those events. 

In its last tournament appearance, the Palmetto Invitational, UNCG finished in ninth place in the 18-team tournament. Before the Starmount Fall Classic, the Spartans also participated in the Col. Wollenberg Ram Classic, finishing in ninth place.

The Spartans will be represented in the Idle Hour Collegiate by Bettle along with fellow sophomore Keri Kenkel, freshman Hailey Joy, junior Louisa Tichy and senior Lexi Kershaw.

UNCG Will Be Joined By…
UNCG will be one of 13 teams in the Idle Hour Collegiate, joined by Mercer, Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Georgia Southern, James Madison, Lipscomb, McNeese State, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Toledo, Towson, Troy and Western Carolina.
