Athletics Offers Current Military and Veterans Tickets To First Two Menís Basketball Games
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG athletics department is honored to offer free tickets to current U.S. military members and armed service veterans to the first two home games of the men’s basketball season in recognition of Veterans Day. Additionally, the Spartans are offering free tickets to TSA employees and airport security personnel for both games
The Spartans open the 2013-14 season Friday as they host Triad rival High Point at the Greensboro Coliseum at 7 p.m. UNCG will also host East Carolina Tuesday, November 12 at 7 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum.
Current military members, armed services veterans and their accompanying family members can receive free admission into the first two games by showing their Military ID cards at the UNCG campus box office in the HHP building by 5 p.m. Thursday or at the UNCG ticket window at the Coliseum on game days. The ticket window at the Coliseum is open one hour prior to tip-off Friday and Tuesday.
TSA employees and airport security personnel will receive the tickets in the same manner by showing their government issued ID card.
Veterans Day is a day to honor all American veterans of all wars. It is held November 11 each year and is a federal holiday.
