GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG junior forward Kyle Cain (Chicago, Ill./Arizona State) was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Second Team All-District 22, the organization announced Wednesday. This marks the third straight year UNCG has placed a representative on the team as former Spartan Trevis Simpson earned the accolades the last two years.

Cain, a transfer from Arizona State in his first year of eligibility at UNCG, scored in double figures 28 times this season, including eight games with 20 or more points. He posted a team-high 11 double-doubles on the year, which ranked second in the league just behind Z. Mason of Chattanooga (13). He connected on 47.6 percent (201-of-422) from the field this season and hit 71.3 percent (82-of-115) from the free throw line.
