13 Nicole Epstein

2014 (Sophomore): 
Has appeared in all 20 games, making seven starts at West Virginia (Sept. 7), High Point (Sept. 19), at The Citadel (Sept. 28), at VMI (Oct. 5),  at Western Carolina (Oct. 17), at ETSU (Oct. 19) and Furman (Oct. 24) as a defender and in the midfield ... helped UNCG earn shutouts against Chattanooga (Oct. 10) and at Western Carolina ... took two shot and played in a total of 819 minutes.    

2013 (Freshman): played in 18 games, starting 16 for UNCG during her freshman campaign … finished with one assist for one point … had two shots playing mostly at defender … helped UNCG post nine shutouts from the back line … also played a couple of games at forward for the Spartans … played nine complete games, including three overtime affairs at Hawai’i (Aug. 23), Appalachian State (Sept. 26) and at Wofford (Oct. 13) … limited opponents to just three goals in the final six games.

High School/Club:
Was a three year varsity letterwinner at Massapequa High School .. was named to the All-State, All-County, All-Classand All-Long-Island team player ... helped her team capture astate championship ... a two-time county andconference champion ... also is on the National HonorSociety, Principles list and high honor roll for five years... played club soccer with Albertson in Albertson, N.Y. underclub coach Michael Demakis ... has been a defender for sixyears ... a News Tournament semifinalist for two years and a Disney Tournament semifinalist in 2010.

Nicole L. Epstein was born on February 1, 1995 ... daughter of Steven and Patricia Epstein ... has two siblings, Matthew andLauren Epstein ... will be majoring in Accounting.
