Dixon was solid once again Monday posting his second straight 1-under par 71 score of the event. He opened with bogeys on No. 2 and No. 3 to sit 2-over par after three holes, but regained his composure with birdies on holes No. 5, 7 and 10 before closing his round with eight straight par scores.
Jenkins also owns a 2-under par 142 score after an even par-72 in round one and a 2-uner par 70 in round two. He was 2-over par through seven holes Monday before posting birdies on holes No. 8, 10, 14 and 15, while notching an eagle-2 on No. 16 when he holed out his approach on the 383-yard par-4 hole.
Freshman Jake McGlone (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Latin) rebounded from a tough first round when he was 10-over par 82 before carding the best round of the day for UNCG Monday with a 3-under par 69. McGlone had six birdies on the day, including four on the back nine on No. 11, 12, 16 and 18 to wrap up his stellar round. His 69 score is the second-lowest of his career and just the second time this season he has been sub-70 moving him into a tie for 23rd overall with a 7-over par 151.
Sophomore Luke Haithcock (Burlington, N.C./Williams) turned in a solid 3-over par 75 score Monday and is tied for 33rd overall with a 10-over par 154 (79-75).
