MADISON, Miss. – UNCG is currently sitting in 15th place with a score of 298 after Monday's first round of play at the Bancorp South Intercollegiate hosted by Ole Miss at the Reunion Golf and Country Club. Inclement weather cut short the first day of the tournament, as play was suspended in the middle of Monday's second round.

Alex Ehlert and Kyle Sonday led the way for UNCG, as they sit tied for 46th after shooting 74.

Spartans Robert Hoadley and Roy Dixon each recorded rounds of 75 Monday, tying them for 55th.

Will Almand finished the first day tied for 76th with a score of 80.

Wichita State is leading the tournament after 18 holes. The Shockers carded a 276, which is four strokes ahead of second-place UCF.

A three-way tie at the top of the individual leader board includes Austen Moix and David Morago of Central Arkansas and Calvin Pearson of Wichita State. Each sits at 5-under par after shooting 67.

Because play was suspended in the middle of the second round, the tournament will be turned into a 36-hole event. The second and final round will begin Tuesday at 10 a.m.
