2012 (Redshirt Junior): Played in 117 of the Spartans’ 119 sets while also starting 27 of 29 matches … Finished second on the team in kills (336) and kills per set (3.13) while also racking up a team third-best 59 blocks … Ended the season ranked eighth among league players in kills per set … Tallied eight double-doubles, including six in Southern Conference play … Recorded double-digit kills in 21 matches and nine of the last 10 of the season … Eclipsed the 20-kill mark on three occasions, including a career-best 27 against Furman (10/19) … Produced the first two double-doubles of her career during the Spartan Spiketacular, racking up a career-high 25 kills and 11 digs against UNC Wilmington (9/14) before tallying 12 kills and 11 digs vs. Morehead State (9/15) … Posted a personal-best hitting mark of .388 against the Seahawks (25k/6e/49ta) … Has recorded double-digit kills in eight of 11 matches this season … Matched her career high with two solo blocks versus American (9/8).

2011 (Junior): Sat out the season as a medical redshirt … Named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2010 (Sophomore): Appeared and started in all 34 matches for the Spartans during her sophomore season as a middle blocker … finished the season third on the team with 273 kills for a 2.17 kills per set average … had a team-best .293 hitting percentage for the year … was second on the team in blocks with 108 for a 0.86 blocks per set average … recorded a season-best 13 kills in a five-set win at Norfolk State (8/28) to start the year and again in a five-set win over Furman (11/19) in the first round of the SoCon Tournament … set a season-best hitting percentage of .600 in a sweep over Morgan State (9/17) when she posted 10 kills and just one error in 15 attempts … posted a career-high nine blocks against Providence (8/28) and also had eight blocks against Western Carolina (11/12) … set a new career-high with seven service aces in a three-set sweep against North Carolina A&T (9/15).

2009 (Freshman): Played in 24 matches as a true freshman, including making 15 starts during the season … saw action in 66 sets during the year … set a season-high in just her third collegiate match with 15 kills in the win over Montana (8/29) … also had double-figure kills with 11 against UCF (9/11) and at Wofford (10/11) … set a season-high hitting percentage of .545 against Georgia Southern (10/18) … had a season-high seven blocks against UCF (9/11) … recorded a pair of aces against Montana (8/29) and UCF (9/11) … had a season-best three digs at High Point (9/14).

High school: Earned four varsity letters while playing for coach Betty Berry at Myers Park HS…named to the Southwestern all-conference team as a junior and senior…garnered conference MVP honors for her efforts her senior season…earned a spot on the 2009 senior all-star team…helped lead her team to the 4A state championship game in 2007.

Club: Played for the Union Volleyball Club in Charlotte, N.C. for coach Sarah Christie…played as a middle blocker from 2006-09 for the club.

Personal: Olivia Ann Humphries…born Feb. 11, 1991, in Charlotte, N.C….daughter of Rachel and Clark Humphries…has two younger siblings, Michael (16) and Virginia (12)…majoring in human development and family studies at UNCG.
