GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG men's soccer team continues its four-game home stand Saturday night as the Spartans host Wofford in Southern Conference action. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at the UNCG Soccer Stadium with live stats and live video available at www.uncgspartans.com.
Saturday's game marks the 21st meeting all-time between UNCG and Wofford. The Spartans hold a commanding 18-1-1 record all-time against the Terriers, including a stellar 16-0-1 mark in the regular season. Last season, the Spartans posted a 4-0 victory in the regular season in Spartanburg before eliminating the Terriers from the SoCon Tournament with a 1-0 victory at home.

(High Point, N.C./High Point Central) paced the Spartans in their regular season victory, scoring two goals and handing out an assist. Forwards Brian Graham
(Bowie, Md./Bowie) and Hakan Ilhan
(Stuttgart, Germany/Univ. of Stuttgart) posted the other UNCG goals in the four-run victory. The Spartans ended the Terriers season in the SoCon Tournament as David Reittinger
(Greensboro, N.C./Northwest) recorded the game-winning goal in the 28th
minute of play.
The Spartans enter the game leading the SoCon with a 2-0-0 record after picking up victories over Davidson and Appalachian State. UNCG has scored 20 goals this season while allowing 16 goals against on the year as they sit alone atop the standings with six points.
Ilhan leads the team and is second in the league in scoring with 17 points as he has scored six goals and dished out give assists. Junior Oddur Gudmundsson
(Reykjavik, Iceland/Breidholti) is second on the team with 10 points as he has scored five goals. Fifth-year senior goalkeeper Peyton Ford
(Jamestown, N.C./Southwest Guilford) has played 946:42 in goal and owns a 1.49 goals against average.
Wofford enters the game with a 6-4-0 record overall and will be opening SoCon play against the Spartans. The Terries have won two out of their last three games with victories over USC Upstate and Liberty surrounding a 1-0 loss to No. 6 North Carolina in double overtime.
Alex Hutchins leads the team and is tied for second in the SoCon in scoring with 17 points. Hutchins has scored eight of the Terriers' 15 goals to go along with one assist. Andrew Drennan has played all by 7:56 in goal for Wofford and owns a 0.79 goals against average.
