WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – UNC Greensboro raced in the JDL College Dual Meet Madness at the JDL Fast Track Sunday. The Spartan runners continue to set many personal and seasonal records for their teams respectively.

“This meet concluded a good month of training and gives us good momentum going into the next month of indoor,” said UNCG head coach Chad Pearson.

On the men’s side, UNCG finished at the top of the podium in the 4,000m Distance Medley Relay with the team of William Sandin, Jevon Neal, Juan Rodriguez and Colin Alexander, while Weston Clayton, Jonathan Timothy, Joe Thoma and Ewan Hynes finished third. Alexander also finished on top with a win in the 800-meter and a new collegiate best time that will rank him second in the Southern Conference currently.

Brandon Hernandez placed third in the Mile with another personal-best for the indoor season. Also reaching these accolades in the Mile were Trelek Jones (sixth), Thomas Knepshield (eighth) and Dalton Miles (tenth). Ny Juan Williams recorded a collegiate-best in the 60-meter while Jonathan Timothy set a new season-best in the 800-meter.

For the women, Josie McGee (fourth place), Kaitlyn Stone (sixth) and Ariana Garcia (seventh) all established new career personal records in the Mile. Chandler McCaslin finished third in the 3,000-meter. Other top-10 performances include Taylor Delaney (800m), India Godlock (800m) and the 4x400m relay team of Chandler McCaslin, Alycia Higgins, Anna Habich and Jasmine Cullins.

The Spartans will be racing again at the Darius Dixon Invitational at Liberty on February 8-9.
