GREENSBORO, N.C. – The postseason honors keep rolling in for the 2018 UNCG baseball team. Juniors Andrew Moritz and Matt Frisbee were named First Team All-Atlantic Region by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings Wednesday morning. The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Region teams are voted on by members of the ABCA and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Division I All-America Committee. The First Team selections are nominated for ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors that will be announced Saturday, June 16th.
Moritz adds to his summer of accolades, having earned Third Team All-America honors by Baseball America and Perfect Game/Rawlings, Second Team Google Cloud Academic All-America, SoCon Player of the Year, First Team All-Southern Conference and All-SoCon Tournament honors, as well as being a sixth round draft pick of the Atlanta Braves.
