INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – UNCG women’s soccer, the 2017 Southern Conference Tournament Champion, will continue their season this Saturday as the team will head to Durham to take on the Duke Blue Devils in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at 7 p.m. The Spartans earned the Southern Conference’s automatic bid after defeating the Western Carolina Catamounts in the SoCon Championship match yesterday in Birmingham, Alabama.

This is will be the eighth trip to the NCAA tournament for the Spartans and the first since the 2010 season. UNCG finished the regular season 11-7-3 overall, and closed the season on a seven-match unbeaten streak, going 6-0-1 during that time.
