A Glance At The Squad

UNCG ended fall play with two fantastic finishes. First at the Autotrader Collegiate, the Spartans – who finished in second place just one stroke behind Georgia State – set new 36- and 54-hole program records.

Additionally, senior Bryce Hendrix and junior Jonathan Brightwell finished tied for second place and just one stroke off the all-time 54-hole low for a UNCG golfer.

Then at the Grandover Collegiate, the team’s annual fall home tournament, UNCG took home the victory for the first time in the tournament’s history. The Spartans (289-282-298) finished the tournament at five-over par and finished the 54-hole tournament with a total score of 869.

The victory was UNCG’s first since winning the Southern Conference Tournament last spring.
