KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UNC Greensboro junior Cienna Rideout was named to the United Soccer Coaches’ All-Southeast Region Second-Team, the organization announced Tuesday. Rideout is the first all-region selection for the Spartans since the 2010 season and the only Southern Conference player to earn the honor.

The Las Vegas native was selected SoCon Player of the Year after leading the league in goals (14), game-winning goals (five), points (37) and shots per game (3.95) and tying for first in assists (nine) despite missing the first two games of the year. The junior forward tied for the fifth-most points in a single season in program history and also tied for ninth in goals. Rideout opened the season with a four-game goal streak, recorded a point in 15 of 19 games played and had eight points in postseason play to garner a selection to the the All-SoCon Tournament Team.
