GREENSBORO, N.C.  – An old Southern Conference rivalry will be renewed on Monday night when UNC Greensboro men’s basketball hosts Appalachian State in the final game of the Spartan Invitational.

-- After scoring 58- and 34-point victories to open up Spartan Invitational play against Averett and Tennessee Tech respectively, UNCG suffered a heartbreaking loss on Saturday night when Montana State hit a half-court buzzer beater to knock off the Spartans 67-66
