GREENSBORO, N.C. - UNCG men's soccer will hope to continue the momentum they've picked up since the start of conference season, hosting the visiting Wofford Terriers this Saturday night at UNCG Soccer Stadium. The Spartans have opened the SoCon season with back-to-back wins over VMI and Belmont, scoring six goals to their opponents' one over the course of those two matches.

Head Coach Chris Rich's side has picked up play during the month of October, delivering a 2-1-1 record after starting the season 2-6-0. The side has surrendered just three goals over the past 18 calendar days, entering the final five matches of the season with an even goal differential.

The Terriers have gone undefeated in the opening stages of the SoCon season as well, drawing with the Belmont Bruins 3-3 last Saturday, and claiming a 3-2 overtime win over the Mercer Bears on Tuesday. The club has not gone three straight matches without a loss in 2019 however, as they face a UNCG side looking to stay on top of the Southern Conference table.
