GREENSBORO, N.C. - UNC Greensboro women's golf will enter the third and final round of the Starmount Fall Classic in second place, after the Spartans on Monday collected a team score of 601 (299-302) through the first 36 holes.

Junior Tara Bettle (72-73) is currently in a tie for the lead heading into the final round as she is currently one-over par. The Berlin, Germany, native birdied twice during the opening round. 

Sophomore Hailey Joy (73-73), meanwhile, is amongst four competitors tied for third place as she finished both of Monday's rounds at one-over par. Joy is coming off the best finish of her career (tied for 19th place) at the Pirate Collegiate Classic.  

Freshman Anna Bowman (77-78) is currently tied for 24th place through the first 36 holes. She logged five birdies on the day including three in the second round. 

Senior Louisa Tichy (78-78) -- who is making her season debut in this week's tournament -- is tied for 28th place at 12-over par. 

Rounding out team play is junior Sara Rydman (77-81), as she is tied for 33rd place. 

Senior Kendall Dobbins (75-76) and freshman Anna Grace Brock (76-75) are tied for 10th place in the field as they compete in individual play in this week's tournament.
