GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro women’s soccer (0-4-1) fell 3-0 to Iowa (6-0-0) Sunday afternoon at UNCG Soccer Stadium. The Hawkeyes’ Devin Burns forced a turnover atop the box and then scored the game-winning goal with a shot into the left side of the net in the fourth minute.
Hannah Drkulec doubled Iowa’s lead with 30 seconds left in the first half on a header from Riley Whitaker’s corner kick. Olivia Fiegel produced the last goal on another corner kick in the 75th minute, pouncing on a ball right next to the goal line after it bounced off a few Spartans.
