INDIANAPOLIS – UNC Greensboro athletics had all 17 teams receive satisfactory marks in the latest Academic Progress Report (APR) scores released by the NCAA Wednesday. The scores reflect the multiyear APR scores from the 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.

Nine different teams had a perfect score of 1,000 during the 2017-18 year in baseball, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s cross country, men’s track, softball and volleyball. This is the third-straight year that volleyball has had a perfect score and the second-straight year that men’s tennis and women’s golf have achieved the mark as well.

Additionally, four UNCG teams earned Public Recognition Awards for posting multiyear APRs in the top 10 percent of all Division I squads in each respective sport (baseball, men’s tennis, women’s golf and volleyball).

The APR provides a real-time look at a team’s academic success each semester or quarter by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete. The APR includes eligibility, retention and graduation in the calculation and provides a clear picture of the academic culture in each sport.
